I love trying new recipes. Chris sometimes gets a little tired of it because our pallets are so incredibly different and he doesn’t like ninety percent of the things I eat. So, when we finally agree on a dish to try I waste no time in making it. It’s very rare we agree on all things food and I have to take advantage of those rare times when we do.
This time, we decided to try the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup recipe from my Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival Cookbook. I wasn’t able to try it at the parks but we were really excited to try it at home!
I was pretty impressed with the recipe. Using tabasco sauce gave it a nice hot after flavor and it was incredibly creamy. I also liked that I could hide some veggies and onions in it by using my small food processor, since my husband isn’t big on either of those food items.
I think this is the perfect rainy day soup and a great way to bring Disney to us when we can’t go down for a visit!
